Samuel Curtis Fitzpatrick, 64, of Vandalia passed away at 2:06 p.m., April 15, 2012 at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico. His family will receive friends Friday, April 20, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vandalia First Baptist Church Family Life Center. Private family interment services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home, Perry.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was born June 8, 1947 in Vandalia, the son of Charles M. and Emma I. Watson Fitzpatrick. He was married to Donna Jean Stuart on November 23, 1968 in Perry.

Mr. Fitzpatrick was a lifetime area resident and farmer. He was a 1965 graduate of Van-Far High School and a member of Hays Creek Christian Church. He was employed at C & E Refractories for 13 years. He was a lifetime member of the Vandalia VFW Post. He loved going mushroom hunting, fishing, and collecting pocket knives, key chains and John Deere toys. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veteran's Home in Mexico or the Vandalia VFW Post.
