Hilda P. Mattson was born June 10, 1881 at Adams, Ore. She was married to Frank W. Mattson, on November 10, 1904 at which time she moved to Centerville where she resided throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1954 and by her daughter Edna in 1926. She is survived by her son Clarence of Centerville, one brother Lambert Kononen of Pendleton, Ore.; one sister Josephene Hermo of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Jerry of Salem, Oregon, Joyce DeChenne of the Grants Pass, Ore., and seven great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Centerville Church of Christ and the Neighbors of Woodcraft Lodge.

She died January 21, 1968 at the Simcoe Manor Nursing Home after a long illness at the age of 86.

Funeral services were held at the Knosher Funeral Home January 24 with Bill Parker of the Centerville Church of Christ officiating.

Pallbearers were Otis Mattson, Ray Mattson, Wilbert Crocker, Lyle Woods, E.K. Guinan and Hugh Cameron.

Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.
