CRAWLEY - Britt Crawley, aged 62, died at his home near Beaver Ridge at 7:20 o’clock yesterday morning. He is survived by his widow, three sons, John Crawley, Oliver Springs; Clifton Crawley, South Dakota, and Joe Crawley, Knoxville; four daughters, Mrs. Tiney Hackworth, Byington; Mrs. Lucile Nelson, Dossett, Tenn., and Misses Addie and Annie Crawley.
The funeral will be conducted at the home this afternoon at 1 o’clock. Rev. A. C. Jones will officiate. Interment will be in the Beaver Ridge cemetery. [Published in “The Journal and Tribune,” Knoxville, Tennessee, Monday, December 25th, 1922, MDP, Page 7.]

NOTE: A volunteer photographer reported the following on 28 July 2012:
I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave. There was no stone that had the last name Crawley in that specific cemetery. I looked through the entire cemetery three times just to make sure. Some stones are extremely faded, but I was able to make out dates or last names listed which were nothing close to Crawley's name and birth/passing dates.
