Mrs. Jennie Yauger Helmick, 71, widow of VanBuren Helmick, died Sunday morning, December 8, 1940, at 6:20 o'clock at the home of a son Earl of Carmichaels. Death was due to complications.
Deceased was born in Masontown, a daughter of Henry and Maria McNatt Yauger. She was preceded in death by her husband a year ago.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Lida Borghero, Los Angeles, CA; Amon, Earl, Mrs. Bertha Browser, Martin all of Carmichaels; Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, Clarksville, and Leonard of Carmichaels.
Seven brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Fannie Bradigan, Masontown; Mrs. Eva Jones, Point Marion; James Yauger, Edenborn; Robert and Edward Yauger, Uniontown; George, Smithfield, as do 36 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The body will be removed today from the W.H. Condit funeral home, to the home of a son, martin Helmick, Carmichaels, where services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Paisley church, with the Rev. R. LaRue officiating. Burial will be in the Masontown Presbyterian cemetery.
