Van Buren Helmick, 74, a native of Fayette Co., died Saturday at his home at Pailsley, near Carmichaels, Greene Co. He was born July 29, 1865, a son of late Amon and Julia Willard Helmick. He leaves his wife, seven children, 34 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three brothers, including James K. of Uniontown, William of Rochester, and John of Salem, Ohio.
