Etrick
Mrs. Frederica Etrick, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Amanda Adams, 910 Fifth avenue Monday evening, July 15. Death was caused by paralysis. Mrs. Etrick was 74 years of age. She was born in Prussia and came to Ford County in 1885. Her son, F.A. Etrick and a daughter live in Dodge City, and another daughter, Mrs. Amelia Hogue, is a resident of Globe, Ari. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. John Rabold Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial was made in Maple Grove cemetery.
While living in Germany, Fredericka married Carl Friedrick Itrich (1838-1868) in 1857. She and three children emigrated in 1870 and settled in Wisconsin, moved west to Illinois and Ford County in 1885.
