Andrew Allton died in the Soldier's Home hospital at 3:40 o'clock Monday afternoon. He was 73 years old, and was a native of New York state. He was a member of Co. B, Fortieth Wisconsin Infantry, and was a harness maker.
He leaves his widow, who is also a member of the Home; and one brother, in Wisconsin. Funeral services will be conducted today in the Home. Burial will be in the Home cemetery.
