FORMER CALHOUN MAN IS BURIED IN OMAHA

Hans Louis Hansen, 83, of Weeping Water, Nebr., died at the Clarkson Hospital Friday, Sept. 9th. He was born in Sielland, Denmark on July 22, 1883. He was baptized and confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church. He was a 50-year member of the Danish Brotherhood of America Lodge No. 195. He had lived in the Fort Calhoun vicinity until two years ago. His wife, Rosalie, preceded him in death on March 27, 1966.

He is survived by two sons: George of Syracuse, Nebr., Bob of Weeping Water. Also four daughters, Mrs. E. D. Harnett, Raytown, Missouri; Mrs. Ray Dougherty, Omaha; Mrs. John Menkel, Marionville, Missouri; and Mrs. Frank Rybin, RR 2, Omaha. Also 20 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister in Denmark.

Services were held Monday, Sept. 12, at the Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha. Interment was at the Springwell Cemetery in Omaha. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Joseph Harnett, Edwin Harnett, Bruce Harnett, Randall Hansen, Larry Rybin and Gerald Christensen.
