Lillian Dow Vaughn, 83, of Greenville, widow of Robert B. Vaughn, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. The father of her children was the late Dr. Jack L. Frasher, Sr.

Born in Raeford, NC, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Linda Dow.

A member of the Greenville High School Class of 1946, Lillian was active in organizing her GHS class reunions, Bridge Club, Dance Club, and Supper Club with her friends in Greenville. She was also a member and former President of the Junior Palmetto Women's Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Frasher of Garden City, SC; two sons, Jack L. Frasher and his wife Cathy, and Joe Frasher and his wife Michelle, all of Greenville; two sisters, Lorice Dow Black of Greenville, and Renee Dow Toy of Dallas, TX; one brother, Amal F. Dow of Greenville; and five grandchildren, Tori Frasher Marshall, Chrisi Frasher, Eric Cota, Leigh Frasher, and Rob Frasher.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown, and will be followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Upstate SC Chapter, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff of The Haven who provided Lillian with loving care during her stay with them.
