James Elmore, age 73, of Coffeen, IL passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital, Hillsboro, IL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, IL. Rev. Eugene Dunkley, Pastor of Free Methodist Church, Coffeen, IL will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Olive Hill Cemetery, Coffeen, IL.

Mr. Elmore was born on November 4, 1938 at Coffeen, IL, to the late Earl & Leah M. (Johanntosettel) Elmore. He had lived in Coffeen, IL his entire life. Mr. Elmore attended Illinois School for the Deaf until 1955. He worked doing handy work & yard work for the Spivey family. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan & WWF Wrestling Fan.

Mr. Elmore is survived by two brothers, Tom Elmore of Irving, IL & Gene (wife Sandra) Elmore of Coffeen, IL. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and several great nieces & great nephews. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Art Elmore & one sister, Carole Ann Roach.

Memorial may be given to Olive Hill Cemetery, Coffeen, IL.
