Andrew was the fifth of ten children born to Robert and Sarah Johnson. His siblings were Robert (b.1818), James (b.1819), Maria (1821), Nancy (1823), (Andrew J. here in 1825), Francis (1827), Harriet (1832), Athia (1834), Jane P. (1836) and Amanda (1839). Andrew married Mary J. Vinnege on 2 Jan. 1848 in Marshall Co., Indiana. The couple settled in North Township in Marshall Co. and I found six children for them--John Alfred (b.1849), Robert (1851), Sarah Ann (1853), Andrew "Buck" J. (1859), Sylvester F. (1861) and Hegrus (sp?). Andrew was a farmer. After wife Mary's death in 1872, he appears to have remarried on 11 Apr. 1878 in Marshall Co.to Nancy Catherine Smith, 36 years younger than he. I also found another marriage record to Lovina Higbee on 28 May 1873 in Marshall Co. Lovina was previously married to Silas Higbee Jr. Andrew died in 1888 at age 62.
