Mr. S. W. Dalton , died at his home in this city Wednesday afternoon, aged about 70 years.
He was born near Springfield, Tenn., and came from that place to this city eight years ago. Mr. Dalton has been confined to his bed for three months or more. He was is member of the Baptist church and his funeral was preached by his pastor, Rev. C. H. Nash, yesterday at 11 o'clock.
He leaves several children, two of his sons being proprietors of the Dalton Bros. brickyard.
