Josephine Susan Biggins, 100, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, at Platte Care Center, Platte.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anns Catholic Church, Geddes. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:15 p.m. Sunday at the church with a 5:15 p.m. prayer service.

She was born on Nov. 29, 1908, in Geddes to Joe and Anna (Burns) Breidenbach.
She attended and graduated from St. Anns Catholic School.
On June 4, 1930, she married Clyde Biggins in Geddes.
She worked in several retail stores in Geddes and Platte.
She was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church and St. Anns Altar Society.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Hysell and husband Harlan, Geddes; a son, John and wife Marianne, Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four sisters and a brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Anns Catholic Church, Geddes.
