Son of Anderson Pierce Lowrey∼Austin Lowery/Lowrey Sr. was the son of Anderson Pierce Lowrey, Cherokee, born 1811 Tennessee. Austin married Sallie Coker,( b. 1861 as given on the Rolls) in 1878; parents of Susie, d.infant, buried here; Wm. Anderson; Randolph; and Austia Lowery (Burke), born 1890. Note: Austin was to be buried at the Martin but Big Creek was flooding at that time. They buried him in his front yard located on the old Willard Reynolds farm now owned by Jim Sellars. It is half mile east of Childers Store & actually half mile due east of Ball Cemetery.
