Son of John T & Sarah Adney, age 6 mos. old, died Oct 18, 1879. Family records given to Edwin Tappen Adney many years ago incorrectly listed his birthdate as Oct 6, 1882. However, our William Adney family historian, John Robert Adney, corrected his death date to Oct 18, 1879 and his age as 6 mos. old as he found on Daniel's tombstone. This also caused me to look at his brother's birthdate, Arthur Sylvester Adney who was shown born on Oct. 21, 1879. I believe Arthur was born Oct 21, 1880 because Arthur is NOT found on the June 1880 U.S. Census and he could NOT have been born in 1879 if we believe Daniel's age at death as 6 mos. in Oct 1879.
