Archie Edward Perkins was born December 17, 1902, and died March 17, 1908, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Perkins, who reside west of Chatsworth, being 5 years, 2 months and 27 days old. He had been a great sufferer for almost two weeks with rheumatic meningitis and all that loving hands coud do was to no avail, and on Saturday evening at six o'clock he quietly passed to a better land to be with Him who loves little children. While he will be greatly missed in the home and among his friends and relatives, we know he is at rest. He cannot return to us, but we can go to him. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his sorrowing parents, two sister, two brothers and other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held at the M.E. church on Monday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. O.E. Clapp.
