David died in MI in 1843 and Lucinda did not remarry. Around 1833 they had moved to Washtenaw County, MI where Lucinda lived on a farm with one son and one daughter, near the farm of her daughter Angeline DIXON LEWIS and son-in-law Chester B. LEWIS.
Her burial record states: Age 73 years, 4 months, 16 days.
Inscription: "Dixon, Lucinda K. Dec 25, 1864 age 73 yrs 4 mo 16 da w/o David Dixon".
