Nancy Cleveland Branstetter, daughter of the late Rev. Peter L. and Mrs. Sarah Frances BRANSTETTER was born May 12, 1885 and was the youngest member of a family of twenty children, nine brothers and sisters and ten half brothers and sisters.
She was married Dec. 24, 1905, to Heber LeRoy "Roy" ADAMS of near Curryville. To this union six children were born. She is survived by her devoted companion and their children.
She unite with the Siloam Baptist church in 1917 where she still held her membership at the time of her passing. Her funeral was held in Curryville Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. FLANNIGAN of here with interment in the Vandalia cemetery.
Mrs. ADAMS was a kind neighbor and friend and very devoted to her family and loved ones.
Interment was in the Vandalia Cemetery. She is survived by her husband and the following children; William S. and Heber L. of Vandalia, Malcolm ADAMS of Hannibal, Chas. ADAMS of Curryville. Mrs. Alberta ELLIOTT, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Frances Ruth (Jim) BRANSTETTER of Reading, Calif., two brothers, Enoch and Louis BRANSTETTER and one sister, Mrs. Chas. BARRETT all of Curryville, one half sister, Mrs. Mollie McCANN of Idaho and eight grand children and many other relatives and a host of friends.
