Monday Rites For Mrs. Ethel Adair, 83

Services for Mrs. Ethel Adair, 83, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hughart-Keightley Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Bill Bunch, pastor of Fruit Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Adair, of Crofton Route 2, died at 4 p.m. yesterday at the Hopkinsville Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was born in Hart County, Dec. 23, 1881, but had lived in this county for the past 45 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She was the widow of Shelley E. Adair, who died in 1933.

Surviving are two sons, Arvin Adair, of the county and Chester Adair, of the city; a brother, Chester C. Wade, Munfordville; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Paul Altsheler, Morris Ray West, Donald Brister, Henry Altsheler, James Peden and Ed Farmer.
