Mrs Clara Hoffman, 69, 2408 Smith St, died yesterday at 5:30 pm at home.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid of the church and the Valparaiso Guild.
surviving are the husband, Herman M; three daughters, Mrs Dorothy Hanson, Fort Wayne, Mrs Helen Waterman, Chicago, and Mrs Hertha C Moran, Garrett; four sons, Albert C, Fort Wayne; Theodore, East Williston, NY, Paul, Greensburg, Ind and William, New York City; 12 grandchildren and two brothers, William Diederich, Fort Wayne, and Henry Diederich, Chicago.
