Hartwick - Charles Reeve, 74, husband of the former Estella Pickens, of this place, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1937, in Chicago where he had lived for the past 45 years.
The body arrived in Oneonta yesterday and was brought here for burial in the family plot in Robinson Cemetery, south of this village.
The Rev. R.D. Gibby officiated.
Mr. and Mrs. Reeve and son were well known here and spent last summer at the home of Howard Murdock. Mr. Reeve was born near Newburgh and went to Chicago when a young man.
He had been employed by the Swift Company for 40 years. He retired nine years ago. ["Utica Daily Press, Utica, Oneida, New York, February 24, 1937."]
