"John Racho"
John Racho, 72, of 1127 Ridge Ave., Allentown, a former resident of East Green Street, this city, was pronounced dead on arrival at 6 p.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in Hazle Brook, the deceased was a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Kolessar) Racho. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by George Racho Trucking Co. He had resided in this city until four months ago. He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown.

Two brothers, Andrew and Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Knoblaugh and Mrs. Betty Skernolis, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Zeleznock; three children, Mrs. Paul (Eleanor) Chekan, Munhall; Mrs. John (Mary) Drosdak, Allentown, and Thomas, this city; six grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: George, Steve, Michael and Mrs. Margaret Maxwell, all of this city; Mrs. John (Mary) Chunko, Drifton; Mrs. Warren (Iona) Lenhart, Frederick, Md.; and Mrs. Steve (Ethel) Adams, Bristol. There are a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home, Second Street entrance. A requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock in St. John's Byzantine Catholic Church, and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Msgr. Joseph Jackanich will conduct a prayer service tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
