Brother of Sadie Kurlancheek of Duryea, PA, and Harry Gordon of Bronx, NY. Also had siblings Iosel, Movsha and Rivka. Hebrew name was Avraham ben Yisrael. Tombstone inscription is "A charitable kindly man, well known for his good deeds, to his family and to all mankind." According to his newspaper obituary he was a founder of Ahavath Chesed Synagogue.
