Mrs. Jacob Klein Dies Following Illness of Year
Mrs. Jacob Klein, an esteemed
resident of this city for the past
eight years, died at Her home, 807
W. Thomas street, at 5:15 o'clock
this morning after an illness extending
over the past 12 months.
Mrs. Klein was born In the town
of Floyd, daughter of the late
Thomas and Margaret Brown, December
27, 1868. In 1891 she was
married to Jacob Klein and after
residing for 24 years on a farm
near Knoxboro the couple came to
this city about eight years ago and
have since lived here.
Mrs. Klein was a member of the
Calvary M. E. Church and of Queen
Esther Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving besides her husband
are four children, Margaret B.,
Frederick J., Howard W. and Mrs.
Ray 3. Russell, all of Rome: three
sisters, Mrs. M. J. Fryor, Marcy;
Mrs. Albert Kline, Rome, and Mrs.
George E. Griffith, Stittville, and
one brother, Seymour Brown, of
Floyd.
