John F Smith, Sharpsville, died Thursday at the home of a son, Ed Smith, in Indianapolis after an illness of several months. He was 82 years old and death was due to heart trouble and complications. The deceased was born in Hamilton county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Smith. He married Margie Jane Andrews and the couple observed their 60th wedding anniversary last November. Eleven children were born to the couple, four of whom survive; Mrs. Belle Click and Ed Smith, of Indianapolis; Delbert Smith, of Kokomo, and John Smith, of Anderson. A retired farmer, Mr. Smith had been in poor health for some time.
