Born in Kolbuszowa (Rzeszow), Poland. At 16 years of age, she left her homeland and joined Josephine Gniewak in relocating to the US. She settled into Phila and worked as a domestic. Married Joseph Drelich at St. Laurentius Church and resided at 1938 Palethorpe St., where eight of her children were born (delivered by midwife). After her husband's untimely death, she supported her family by making making bootleg liquor on the third floor of her home. Her children delivered the liquor to the customers.
In 1924 she was introduced to Joseph Churchray. She married him and had two children. They moved to Roosevelt St. in Bristol, PA.
Most fondly known as "Grandmom." She kept her glorious sense of humor, her special brand of hospitality, her love for children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, along with a healthy enjoyment of gambling.
She died after a long illness.
