She was an active and long time member of Congregation Gates of Prayer, serving terms as President of the Sisterhood organization. She was a long time member of the New Iberia Fortnightly and Garden Club. For many years she volunteered time in the North Lewis reading program. Her hobbies included bridge, where she had a regular Monday game for over forty years, traveling, reading, gardening and flower arranging. She loved Mardi Gras and was a former Queen of Andalusia. She is survived by three children David Wormser, Sally and her husband Charley Bassler, John and his wife Adele Wormser, her grandchildren Ben Wormser, Michael Wormser and his wife Stacey, Harold Wormser II, Katie Wormser, Jacob Wormser, Loran Dunn and her husband Bryan, Dustin Dugas, Cheryl and Rio. She has two great granddaughters Sophie and Sadie Wormser. She was preceded in death by her husband and soul mate Harold J. Wormser, her parents Henry and Sylvia Frosh, and her beloved stepmother Virginia 'Dede' Frosh.
