Died--At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Delaney, No 219 East Union St, Saturday evening, October 25, 1913, Mrs. Mary Jack, widow of Samuel Jack of this place, at an advanced age. Five daughters and two sons are bereaved: Mrs. Agnes Delaney, Miss Lena Jack and Mr. William Jack of this place; Mrs. Mary Stakem and Mrs. May Nichols, of Lonaconing; Mrs. Ellen Downing of Pittsburg, Pa., and Mr. Robert Jack of Connellsville, Pa. The funeral was held this morning at St. Michael's Church closing with interment in the church cemetery. The husband, an ex-union soldier, has been dead about 20 years.
