She was born May 12, 1898, at Oak Grove Arkansas, and had lived in Fairland since 1929, moving from Arkansas. she was a member of the First Baptist Church. her husband, Roscoe Mahurin, died Jun 9, 1964. Surviving are a son, Arlis Butler, Fairland; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Martin, Mrs. Doris Colvin and Mrs. Lula Harding, all of Fairland, six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 16 E. Cherokee St.
