Clara Adamson Clara Nelson Adamson, 94, of the Iowa Masonic Health Facility in Bettendorf, formerly of Burlington, died at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at the health facility.

Born May 9, 1910, in Davenport, she was the daughter of Nels and Helena Johansen Nelson. On Sept. 4, 1937, she married Leroy Adamson in Davenport. He died Sept. 14, 1974.

Mrs. Adamson was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving in the church's Faith Circle. She was member of EC Blackmar Chapter 306, Order of Eastern Star, and Palestine Shrine No. 11, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, for 50 years.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Adamson of Mount Prospect, Ill., and James Adamson of Rock Island, Ill.; six grandchildren; five great–grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and four sisters. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Adamson will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Betsy A. Lee officiating. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
