Died at age 51 years and 11 months. Was prominantly identified with the industrial and agricultural activities of the parish and operated one of the largest rice farms in the area. Was a long time alderman for the town of Covington and, along with brothers, formed the business known as Alexius Brothers Co., Inc.

He was the son of the late Guido Cintio Alexius and Caroline Henrietta Oertling Alexius and husband of Amelia Miller Alexius. Besides his wife he was survived by three brothers, John of Wilmington, NC and Alfred and Horace of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. John A. Wadsworth of New Orleans and Mrs. Leonora Alexius of Covington.

Services were conducted at the home and at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Tate Young of Hammond officiating.
