Earl Uriah Jackson, longtime Seminole resident, passed from this life on Friday, March 30, 2012 in Seminole, Oklahoma; he was 90 years old. He was born September 30, 1921 south of Stroud, Oklahoma to Ida Bell (Spradling) and Uriah Jackson.

On February 14, 1940 Earl married Ocie D.Stotler in Paden, Oklahoma. He worked as an auto mechanic at the Broadway Garage in Seminole for many years. Earl was a member of the New Life Assembly of God in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Earl is survived by his wife, Ocie of the home; two sons, Jimmie Jackson of McLoud, Oklahoma and Ronnie Jackson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one daughter, Peggie Goforth of Seminole, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren as well as other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, one niece and one grandson.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at Little Cemetery north of Seminole with
David Pollard officiating.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
