Dill, Elsie E. 1883-1967
FARMINGDALE --- Miss Elsie Estelle Dill, 83, died Tuesday at a local convalescent home after a long illness.
She was born November 22, 1883, the daughter of Edwin P. and Eva (Nye) Dill. She was a graduate of the former Castine Normal School and taught school for 37 years in Maine communities. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gardiner and a member of Eureka Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two sisters; Mrs. Clarence L. Philbrick and Miss Madeline P. Dill, both of Augusta and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from 15 Flagg St., Augusta.

AUGUSTA --- Funeral services for Miss Elsie Estelle Dill were conducted Saturday afternoon at 15 Flagg St. The Rev. Douglas H. Robbins, pastor of the Winthrop Street Universalist Church, officiated.
Delegations attended from the First Baptist Church of Gardiner and Eurekah Lodge, Gardiner.
Bearers were Dr. C. Leighton Philbrick, David W. Flood, Elbert Dill and Russell Dill
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Gardiner, where the Rev. William Dunstan, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Gardiner, gave the committal services.
