DeWITT, Iowa — Annimae C. Johnson, 87, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at West Wing Place, DeWitt.
Burial in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Annimae was born May 30, 1924, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of John H. and Bernice (McDonald) Rannals. She was united in marriage to Melvin H. Johnson on April 27, 1941.
She worked as a retail clerk at Venture, until her retirement in May 1984.
Those left to honor her memory include daughter, Sharon Lee Johnson; grandchildren, Darin D. Johnson and Robert V. Johnson; great-granddaughter, Morgan Kimball; sisters, Maxine Orsinger and Donna Evans; sister-in-law, Phyllis Rannals; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Terry Johnson, and a brother.
