Rev Samuel Skelton(1592-1634) was the first pastor of the First Church in Salem Massachusetts, the original Puritan Church in America. He arrived in America in 1629. He was the Immigrant Great Grandfather of Emeline Skelton Tripp. He was also my 11th great grandfather.
Her granduncle, Thomas Skelton (1740-1815) may have been one of the "Minutemen" who responded at Lexington and Concord.
Emeline Tripp is a cousin of my great grand-uncle, Anson Burlingame (1820-1870). Burlingame, California was named after Anson Burlingame.

Emeline shares lot 56 with her husband and daughter. Their remains were moved from Union Cemetery in Redwood City January 31, 1941. Their remains were moved at the request of her cousin Emma F. Locke in Massachusetts who wished to be buried in the same plot but never was.
