Mrs. Mary S. Royer, wife of John Victor Royer, of Crane Station, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ode Lambert, on Dehart Lane, at 9 o'clock Monday night. Death was due to complications. Mrs. Royer was born August 9, 1851, in Harrisonburg, Va., and was united in marriage to Mr. Royer on March 13, 1870. To this union eight children were born, two preceding her in death. Surviving, with the husband, are the following children: Ben Royer, of Lafayette; James and Samuel Royer, of Battle Ground; John Calvin Royer, of Stockwell; Mrs. Bert Gates and Mrs. Ode Lambert. A brother and three sisters also survive. They are Mrs. Samuel Bantz, Mrs. Martha Frank and Mrs. Jeanette Kesling, of Penn Laird, Va., and Mrs. Joseph W. Miller, of Lafayette. Short funeral services will be conducted at the Lambert home at 9 o'clock Thursday morning and from the concord E. B. church at 10 o'clock . Rev. Walter Roudebush will officiate; Concord cemetery.
