Born in Washington Township, Mrs. Ripley was a daughter of the late McKenzie and Nancy Miller Young. She resided in RD 2, Tippecanoe, until a few years ago when she went to Sugarcreek to reside with a daughter, Mrs. Fred Craigo. She was a member of the West Union Methodist Church near Gilmore.
Mrs. Ripley's husband, James E., died in 1945. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Craigo, Mrs. Emil Klimack and Miss Nancy Ripley of Cleveland; a son, Leo, of Coca, Fla.; a brother, L.M. Young of Trenton, Mo.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements for services are incomplete but they will be held at the West Union Church. Friends may call at the Lingler Funeral Home in Sugarcreek after 7 p.m. Thursday.
