Born June 8, 1951 in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of William J. and Cecelia J. (Boeding) Weishaar.
Survivors include four sisters Patty Tucker, of Evansville, Indiana, Judy (Tom) Watson of Topeka, Kansas, Becky (Keith) Thomas of Fort Madison, Iowa, Debbie (Cliff) Conrad of West Point, Iowa, one aunt Clara Walljasper of Flushing, Michigan, eight nephews, two nieces and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Cecelia.
Wayne was a 1969 graduate of Aquinas High School in Fort Madison, Iowa. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from E.I. Dupont after many years of employment. Wayne was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed sports cars, repairing clocks, his cats and being outdoors.
Friends may call and meet with the family from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2012 at Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point, Iowa.
A graveside memorial service will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in West Point, Iowa, there will be a flag presentation by the Holtz-Geers American Legion Post 668 of West Point.
