Early Life: Bob was bom October 4, 1932, in Provo, Utah, to John Melvin and Martha Vivian Skinner Long. He received his education in Eureka City schools.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On January 9, 1957, he married Joyce Fausett in Nephi, Utah. Bob enjoyed underground mining. He worked in the Eureka, Oregon, New Meiuco and Moab mines. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bob Robert Long, of Springville, Utah, passed from this life August 25, 1991, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, of kidney failure. He was 58.
Survived By: His wife, of Springville, UT; three sons: Bob D. Long, Melvin F: Long, both Springville, UT; Billy Joe Long, Orem, UT; two daughters: Mary Anne Potter, Sandy, UT; Debbi Long Chadwick, Pleasant Grove, UT; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Wesley Long and Vivian Conley, both Orem, UT; and Darleen Ruleio, Salt Lake City.
Preceded In Death By: His son, LeRoy Frank Long; his parents; and a grandson, Johnny Potter.
