Hugh Young, 84, of Corwin St., Roscoe, died yesterday at 9:10 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.
He was born in Riverview Aug. 25, 1883, the son of Robert and Anna (Ferguson) Young.
A retired coal miner, he was the oldest member of the Masonic Lodge of California.
Surviving are: his widow, Anna (Peach) Young; three daughters, Dorothy and Idella, at home; and Mrs. Lee (Evelyn) Hornbake of Hyattsville, Md.; and one grandson.
Friends will be received at the Ruth Eckert Funeral Home, Roscoe, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
