Abe Adler
Plymouth

Abe Adler, 72, Plymouth, died in a local hospital Saturday morning. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Max Adler of Sylvania, Russia, he came to Dover to live when he was 5 years old and Plymouth had been his home for 43 years. He was a retired merchant, a member of the local Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Bethel Temple of Rocky Mount. He was twice married, first to Lorena Stilley, who died about 3 years ago. About a year ago, he married Gladys Bonner, who survives. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the chapel of Horner's Funeral Home with the Rev. D. L. Fouts, minister of Plymouth Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, DC. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sisters, Mrs. Hirshfield and Mrs. S. Silverstein of Baltimore, two brothers, Sam of Morehead City and Phillip Adler of Tarboro.
