Atlanta - Pauline Howe, 92, of 600 W. North St., died at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 1984 at Bartmann Nursing Home, rural Atlanta. Mrs. Howe was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Atlanta Woman's Club, Homemakers Extension Association and Atlanta Christian Church. She was born Feb. 24, 1891, at Union, the daughter of George and Elizabeth McCormick Quisenberry. She married Wade Howe Jan. 14, 1913, at Greenup. He died Aug. 8, 1965. Surviving are two daughters, Elsie Holland, Lincoln, and Delilah "Dee" Allen, Atlanta; a son, Lawrence, Atlanta; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral was Monday afternoon (today) at Quiram Funeral Home. Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Fire Department or Rescue Squad, V.F.W. Auxiliary or American Cancer Society.
