Elsie M. Holland, 75, of Lincoln died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 1988 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Holland was formerly employed by Molloy's Cafe in Lincoln. She retired in 1977 as an aide at the Lincoln Developmental Center. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the church's Ruth Circle. She also was a member of the Atlanta Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post. No. 1756 and the Lincoln American Legion Post 263 Auxiliary. She was born Sept 2, 1913 in Atlanta, a daughter of Wade and Pauline Quisenberry Howe. She married Harold H. Holland on July 17, 1943 in Springfield. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1984. Surviving are one sister, Dee Allen of Atlanta; and one brother, Lawrence of Atlanta. A sister also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 1:30 Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Don Beckman officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Holland and Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln. Members of the Atlanta VFW Auxiliary will hold a ritual at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to liver research.

Tim Searby served as soloist. Pallbearers were Harold Kuhlman, Alvin Schmidt, Richard Fink, Paul Schmidt, Tim Fink and Wade Howe. Holland and Barry Funeral home handled arrangements.
