Rosa Dell Wilson Pattee, 96, a former Monitor area resident, died at 7:15 AM Friday [July 4, 1980] in Hillcrest Nursing Home, following several years of failing health. She had resided with a daughter before entering the nursing home four days ago. Born at Monroe, she was a life resident of Tippecanoe County. She married William A. Pattee on Feb. 24, 1910, and he died in 1967. He was a farmer in the Monitor area. Mrs. Pattee was a member of Bible Covenant Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Marguerite (Mrs. Paul) Turner of rural Lafayette, with whom she had resided, Evelyn D. Pattee of Oroville, CA, Maxine (Mrs. John) Tschopp of Barrington, IL, and Virginia (Mrs. Wayne) Austin of rural Lafayette; two sons, William F. Pattee of Lafayette and Charles L. Pattee of Edna, OH; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
