Mary Elizabeth V. Davis was born 21 November 1854 in Newton County, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Isham Johnson Davis and Sarah Stanton Harp. On 18 of December 1870 she married Levi Newton Casey in Newton County, Arkansas. About 1892 they moved to Ardmore, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory. She died there 4 April 1908 and was buried 6 April 1908 in an unmarked grave. Her grave is thought to be located somewhere near the Flippo and Buckholts family plots in the Lone Grove Cemetery
