Linda Forbes first married Walter S. Marlin together they had 7 children: Herman Paul Marlin, Hubert Jefferson Marlin, Toy Green Marlin, Minnie Armildred Marlin-Graham -Obert, Clyde T. Marlin, Geneva Jean Marlin-McClendon and Eva Dee Naomie Marlin-Bentz.

After Walters death in 1920 and the death of her sister Emmer (Emmaline) Forbes in 1919. Linda Marlin then married her brother-in-law, Jesse Albert Casey. Combining her 7 children and her 6 nieces and nephews. First cousins then became stepbrothers and sisters. Linda and Jess then had two sons together, Daniel Brice Casey and Cecil Clinton Casey.
