Mrs. Emma Tupa, 84, a longtime resident of Faribault, passed away Monday, June 26, at the Rice County District One Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 28, at 10 a.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Kohl Funeral Home from Tuesday afternoon until the hour of services Wednesday morning. The Immaculate Conception Church Rosary Society will recite the rosary Tuesday at 3 p.m, and the parish vigil prayers will be recited Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Kohl Funeral Home. Emma Tupa was born June 2, 1888, to Frank and Mary Kallal Tupy. She was united in marriage to Albert Tupa. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Wadekamper (Sabina) of Lonsdale, Mrs. B. McCluskey (Mayme) of Farmington, and Mrs. T. W. Bushey (Alice) of Faribault; one son, Edward Tupa of Faribault; 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Tupy of Webster; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lexa of Lonsdale, Mrs. Edward J. Tupa of Northfield, and a number of other relatives.
