Mr. Coulter, a retired farmer, died at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning at Ball Hospital after an illness of three weeks.
A native of Jay County and a resident of near Martinsville for 40 years, Mr. and Mrs. Coulter had come to live with their son, Samuel, three years ago.
Surviving besides the son and the widow, Catherine, are another son, William, of north of Parker; six daughters, Mrs. Effie Craig, Mrs. Nettie May and Mrs. Samuel Toms, all of Muncie, Mrs. Estella Collins of Chicago, Mrs. Cecilia Payne of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Ferdinand Wrischle of Martinsville; 11 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
