Kentucky New Era Obit:
Eunice "Mama" Wells, 92, Pinecrest Manor, died at 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000, at Pinecrest of natural causes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday.
A native of Christian County, she was born Dec. 20, 1907, the daughter of the late Jim and Zadie Bell Johnson Corly. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bluff Springs Church of Christ. Her husband, Osby Wells, died in 1974. Two sons, Wendell James "Ross" Wells and Elgin C. Wells and a daughter, Nola Mae Wells, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Wilma Phipps, Pacific, Mo., Mary Pace, Christian County, Patricia "Polly" Morgan, Bumpus Mills, Tenn.; two sisters, Agnes Barnes, Hopkinsville, Buna Spurlin, Christian County; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
