Mrs. Nannie Tucker, widow of the late Green B. Tucker, a resident of Whitley City, died Thursday, October 20, at the Stephen's Rest Home in Pine Knot.
The deceased was born Oct. 12, 1879, in Wayne County and was a daughter of the late Henry H. Clark and Rebecca Morrow Clark. McCreary County had been her home for the last twenty five years. She was a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gertie Denney, Mrs. Eva Jones, Mrs. Mattie Roberts and Mrs. Hattie Shoopman, all living in Whitley City; two sons, Coy Tucker and Earnie Tucker, both living
in Cincinnati; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Tucker and Mrs. Rose Vaughn, Denney, Ky., Mrs. Sally Coffey, Smithtown, and Mrs. Ollie Davis, Muncie, Ind.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 23, at 1:30 pm from the Second Baptist Church, Whitley City, with Rev. Carmel Stanley in charge. Burial in the Methodist Cemetery.
